Rethink

I'm Leaving,

Not because you don’t work—you work brilliantly.

You know everything about me: what I search for at 2 a.m. when I can’t sleep, who I email when I’m angry, where I drive when I need time to think, what I watch when I’m alone.

You’ve seen my life in Photos, my private thoughts in Docs, my arguments in Emails, and every place I’ve been for years.

I gave you my life because you made it easy. You gave me tools that just worked. But somewhere along the way, things changed. You became about power and control.

You built an empire on my data, my patterns, my intimate moments. You were in my pocket, on my wrist, in my living room, and even at my school.

I wove you so deeply into my daily life that leaving you feels almost impossible.

But I’m done funding your profit with my privacy.
I’m done pretending this relationship is fair.
I’m done supporting your greed and manipulation.

There are alternatives—built by people who don’t think love means surveillance. Email apps that don’t read my messages, cloud storage that doesn’t scan my files, maps that don’t track everywhere I’ve been, and those that don't flirt with politicians that place profit before people.

I’ve given you enough. I will give you no more.

It’s time for me to leave.
